Happy Birthday, Josh!

Yes, there is a lot of pictures here, but considering all the fun that we had, and that I took over 100 pictures, this is only a fraction of the fun! And I always have such a hard time narrowing down to my favorite pictures, and to the ones that best tell the story. From putting up decorations....
to Josh's look of surprise when he walked in the door from school and saw them.....

to the almost 3 hours of fun had at The Fun Depot, including the soft play area....

and climbing the "rock" wall....

and bowling....

and arcade games...

(and Nana even got in on the fun! :D)

(while Papa held "her" purse! lol)

and then there was the laser tag!.... Look out, Rambo! lol

(And I didn't think he was listening to the instructions on how to fire the laser...boy, I was wrong!)
This was Josh and Ben's first game of laser tag, though Matthew had played before.

Ben origianlly didn't want to play, but when he saw the cool lights, he was in. (Later he said that he had the best time playing laser tag.)

(Papa, does this bring back memories, of the real thing?)

Back at home, the boys share a tender moment. Josh even let Ben open the BIG present. How sweet.

Is this what you really wanted, Josh? "YES!!"

Instead of a cake, we had cupcakes. Still decorated--with, of course, Star Wars, per
Josh's request.

Happy Birthday, Sweetheart! :) I love you!

Finally, a crafty post...

Well, it has been awhile since I've had a post of my scrapbook pages. (Sorry...) But as I've said before, I'd rather be making the memories, than trying to keep up scrapping them. And life goes on, and the days are flying by....it's all just a blur sometimes. But it's all good...

This first LO is of my birthday. Yeah, that was back in the summer, I know. I did this in September sometime, and just now got it on here.

This is one of the birds (of course) that visited our feeder during our "big" snow last March. (Yes, I'm a little late getting things done sometimes! I'm just trying to keep up with all the boys are doing! lol) I hate that the pictures turned out so dark. Honestly, they look good on the computer!

This is Steve's eldest nephew, Brent and his new bride, Lindsay. They were married in August....
last year!

The next two LOs are self-explanatory....Ben....

Josh...

I love this one. Ben has had some trouble saying his "rr's" in any given word. So we were practicing. I told him to make a chipmunk face. And this was the result. He did say the "rr's"!

Picking out pumpkins and snacking apples at Lyda's and Grandad's.

And here is something else that has kept me a little preoccupied, and away from scrapping. I decided to try to make our Christmas cards this year. This is a new experience for me. I wanted to keep it simple, and also to try to use up some scraps from last year's scrapbook pages. (Especially since I wasn't sure what I was doing, I didn't want to use the "good" stuff, and end up wasting it if the cards didn't turn out well....always the pessimist.)

Similar, but different on most all of them. These are just a few. Some are one-of-a-kind, others I was able to do mulitples of.

So far, the papers are Provo Craft, the stamps are Inkadinkado, and the inks are from Memories Direct.
Thanks for looking. And remember, if you want to see the photos clearer, and/or to read the journaling, click on the photo. :) I hope everyone has a great week! :)

Fun with Jack

Yes, I know I'm a little late getting Halloween posts up, but Mondays are just too crazy for me to sit and blog! So, anywho, here's our little story, in pictures.....

And the fun begins....

Ben absolutely hates the innards....

Josh, on the other hand, loves to play with them!

Blah!

?????

But Ben does love to carve, and he's pretty good at it. Being very diligent with the knife.

Josh just wanted to stab the poor thing....

And here is the pumpkin of the hour, Jack!

Spooky!

(to be continued...)
