Steve said the area was set up really nice, and the scenery was beautiful.
Hidden under the silver tarp is Steve's backpacking tent. It's a two-man tent, that just barely accommodated the air mattress.
Crafts at the Dining Hall (?), along with coffee and hot chocolate...
Fun activities at the Pavilion...
Enjoying a yummy snack, while trying to warm up...

Waiting for supper--fire roasted wienies, chips, and cole slaw...

And then the rain turned to snow....what fun!

After a night spent curled up under three sleeping bags, Steve decided to pack it up, as was everyone else. There was supposed to be breakfast provided by the Pack, but it didn't seem like anyone was interested in anything but getting out of Dodge...

With the weather being non-cooperative, it just wasn't a good weekend for camping out...
Josh ended up with soaked feet, twice, and ended up in Daddy's tube socks, which came up to his thighs. lol Even though the weather was being ugly, Josh still said he had a good time. He did get to shoot the bow and arrow, which Steve wasn't able to get a picture of, regrettably, but he didn't do the BB's because he just wanted to take a nap...too much fun I guess...or maybe it was just too cold....
